Post-doctoral, Post-masters Fellowships/Internships

The Boulder Institute for Psychotherapy and Research (BIPR) at InReach is now accepting applications for a Post-Doctoral and/or Post-Masters Fellow starting September 1, 2016. The position is a 2-year, approximately 25-hour/week commitment. Students are expected to work 4–6 hours on one weekend day each week.

BIPR is the academic training program of the non-profit organization, InReach, that works to incorporate the latest advances in knowledge about human development into the most effective services for promoting healthy lives and communities. The training at BIPR integrates attachment and psychodynamic theories, the impact of trauma on the brain and the mind, and neuroscientific approaches to understanding behavior and experience. Clients range from very young children to adults. Couples, group, and family therapy are also provided. One integral part of the program is an intensive focus on early childhood, including preschool and nursery school consultation and early intervention in infant/parent, toddler/parent, and preschool child/parent dyads. BIPR makes every attempt to assign cases based on students’ areas of interest, and research opportunities may also be available.
