Education & Training
Claire is a rising junior at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. She is studying Geography and Applied Mathematics, hoping to work in public health, specifically addressing health disparities. She recently took a class for her Geography major called “US Immigration and International Migration”, which dissected the strengths and weaknesses of the asylum process in the US. This class is what motivated her to volunteer for AsylumConnect, seeking out some ways to apply her knowledge from the classroom for the common good. In her free time, Claire can be found baking or volunteering — she’s had multiple volunteer roles working with the elderly community and has loved every second of it!
