Michele ‘M’ Royer (she/her) identifies as a cisgender lesbian. Currently she works as a User Computing Administrator III at the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA) in Arlington, VA. She runs the Pride employee resource group, which has run several successful events, including a fundraiser that raised over $1,500 for Equality Northern Virginia. Prior to working for CNA, she served seven years in the United States Navy as an information systems technician, from which she was honorably discharged in 2021. She earned her Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Charleston while in the service. She serves as a Deacon in her LGBTQ+ affirming church community, Commonwealth Baptist Church, and is a member of an LGBTQ+ bowling league. M is happily married to her wife Laura and proud dog mom to their cavapoo, Butter.
