InReach Celebrates World Refugee Day

Celebrate LGBTQ+ Asylum Seekers and Refugeesย

As Pride Month intersects withย World Refugee Day, we celebrate the strength and courage of LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers.

We are proud to use free technology toย increase access toย safe, verified resources for LGBTQ+ people fleeing persecution like Sara. 🏳️‍⚧️🌈📱

Anti-Trans Bills Are Creating a New Kind of ‘Political Refugee’ in the U.S.

Originally started as ‘AsylumConnect,’ our organizationโ€™s history is in using free technology to connect LGBTQ+ asylum seekers to verified, safe resources during resettlement in the United States. The current surge in U.S. anti-trans legislationย is creatingย a new kind of political refugee within our own country: transgender people/families in the U.S. are having to create escape plans and flee hostile states to start a new lifeย in a safer state. In both scenarios, access to verified, affirming resources is vital.

This World Refugee Day, we reaffirm our mission to ensure all LGBTQ+ย people fleeing persecutionโ€“both domestic and internationalโ€“have free, on-demand access to the safe resources they need to thrive.

New Podcast: Serving LGBTQ+ Newcomersย
