User Story of the Week – Meet Denis

He has made the long and difficult journey to the U.S.-Mexico border in hopes of receiving U.S. asylum. However, under the new Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) policy, Denis is now forced to wait in Mexico until his U.S. asylum hearing – which could take months or even years. He is stranded in Tijuana and fears for his life. Denis needs to be able to quickly identify and connect with local LGBTQ-affirming services and support to survive his wait in Mexico.
