InReach hits over 250,000 user sessions

The free InReach App (formerly known as ‘the AsylumConnect Catalog’) has now topped over 250,000 user sessions since launching in 2016. InReach is the world’s first tech platform matching LGBTQ+ people with safe, verified resources. The free App currently lists over 7,000 services vetted by our trained volunteers to be welcoming to LGBTQ+ people fleeing persecution and other LGBTQ+ people in need of safe resources.

Over 50 percent of total user sessions (125,000+) have come from this year alone as we continue to witness an increased demand for InReach’s free technology in the midst of an unprecedented number of anti-LGBTQ+ policies sweeping through state legislatures across the country. 

As more LGBTQ+ people search for safety and a sense of belonging, our work at InReach is more urgent than ever. We are proud to connect LGBTQ+ people fleeing persecution and other LGBTQ+ people in need with independently verified, safe legal, medical, mental health and social services.
