Born on the south side of Chicago, spending much of her childhood in the adjacent low-income suburbs, Christina’s early life instilled in her a desire to leave the world just a tad better than she found it. She attended the University of Michigan with plans of becoming a creative writer and copywriter, but eventually pivoted to a career in technology. Today she works as a full-stack engineer for a Chicago-based nonprofit and is working towards becoming an accessibility engineer.
