Saloni Garg is a software engineer at Wayfair, working out of the Mountain View office, focusing primarily in cloud integration and networking. Outside of work, she enjoys experimenting with Machine Learning and AI, engaging in activities ranging from casual learning projects to intensive bootcamps or long-running elaborate projects.

She has a strong passion for open source and has been awarded with the Women in Open Source Award by Red Hat, an internationally acclaimed honor celebrating her significant contributions to the open source community. She was also selected as a Mozilla Open Leader, furthering her dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation in the open source domain.

She loves to share the knowledge and actively engages with global tech communities through speaking engagements and conferences, sharing her insights and projects with a wider audience. From the Red Hat Summit in Boston to the Linux App Summit in Barcelona, Saloni is always curious about learning what’s new.

She is also committed to mentorship and community building, like mentoring young women in programs like 1 Million Women To Tech to serving as a mentor for the Mozilla Open Leaders Program, and starting a local community of students while she was a student to collaborate on learning and sharing opportunities.
