Current Employer & Position Title: Fragomen, Immigration Process Analyst

Junior Board Chapter: Virtual Chapter

Years Served on Junior Board: 2023

Tabitha is an Immigration Process Analyst at Fragomen, where she integrates new visa types into the SimpleCitizen virtual application. Before joining the SimpleCitizen project, she completed an AmeriCorps service year supporting refugee resettlement during the Afghan refugee crisis. This experience motivated her to enter her current part-time master’s program in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies.

Tabitha’s interest in global migration justice comes from growing up in a diverse community in San Diego County with deep ties across the US/Mexico border. This interest grew as a Princeton undergraduate, where her independent research used machine learning models to evaluate the impact of Trump-era border policies.

Tabitha’s LGBTQ+ activism began in high school. Her leadership revived the local Gay-Straight Alliance chapter in 2014, which is still active today. She is eager to continue serving the LGBTQ+ community through her work on the InReach Junior Board.
