New InReach App Redesign Coming Soon

In 2022, over 170 anti-trans bills and over 300 anti-LGBTQ+ bills were introduced in state legislatures across the United States. Already in 2023, there are more than 200 bills targeting LGBTQ+ rights in the U.S. The majority continue to target the trans community.

Amidst this current hostile climate facing the LGBTQ+ community, InReach will launch a redesigned version of the free InReach App (the world’s first tech platform matching LGBTQ+ people with safe, verified resources). When InReach is at scale, every trans and queer person will have on-demand access to the safe, affirming resources they need to thrive.

Scroll down for a preview of the upcoming redesign (launching in early 2023)

The redesign will add a new landing page to the InReach App, featuring a rotating list of service types (e.g., medical care, legal help, housing, etc.) and LGBTQ+ populations (e.g., LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, LGBTQ+ BIPOC community, TGNC community, etc.) to signify InReach’s vision to serve the diverse LGBTQ+ community.
Draft of new App landing page – with ‘medical care’ and ‘LGBTQ+ asylum seekers’ shown in rotating lists (desktop view).
Users will begin their search by typing in a location. InReach is currently available in the United States, Canada and Mexico (desktop view).
The redesign will add the ability for users to sort their search results by verified organizations who focus on serving a specific LGBTQ+ community(ies).
Draft of search results page – as shown above, when ‘immigrants’ is toggled, users will be able to narrow their search by organizations focused on asylum seekers and/or resettled refugees (desktop view).
Draft of search results page, with ‘BIPOC community’ toggled (desktop view).
Users will also now have the ability to see which verified organizations are led by specific LGBTQ+ communities (beginning with BIPOC, Black, immigrant and trans led organizations).
The redesign will add new badges to the search results page for those organizations led by specific LGBTQ+ communities (desktop view).
Users will also have the ability to sort verified providers by service type, as well as apply additional filters to narrow their search results.
