Caroline is the Program Chair for a grassroots organization on the East Coast providing a variety of wraparound services to LGBTQ+ asylum seekers. She has developed an expertise in serving this community through years of volunteering at the organization. However, her organization is small and under-funded, and has the capacity of supporting up to 10 individuals at one time. As a result, Caroline’s organization is forced to turn away many persecuted LGBTQ+ people in need. Her organization also frequently receives messages from LGBTQ+ asylum seekers who are looking for help in other parts of the country. Caroline is thrilled to learn about InReach on social media. She uses InReach’s free resource website and mobile app to easily direct LGBTQ+ asylum seekers in other states on where it is safe to go for help in their local area
